British VODAFONE Europe Holdings BV (45%) is one of the largest Mobile Phone companies worldwide, participating on several private owned telephone networks (France, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, South Africa etc.

FRENCH TELECOM MOBILE INTERNATIONAL (35%) is the national organization of telecommunications of France,

Greek INTRACOM (10%), the largest in telecommunication, telematics, and information systems company in Greece,

DATA HOLDINGS (10%).

Cosmote :

OTE (70%) the Greek National organization of telecommunications

TELENOR (30%) the Norwegian Telecommunications company.

Telestet :

STET International (75%) which is a subsidiary of Telecom Italia,

BELL Atlantic (20%)

INTERAMERICAN (5%) a large Greek insurance company.

COVERAGE MAP

pre-paid : in such connection you pay the talking time in advance

(Panafon / a-la-carte, Telestet / B-Free,

Cosmote / Cosmocarta).

contract : monthly minimum charge plus talking time.

ENTER 2000

To resolve the year 2000 issue (Y2K), all three companies have already started the ENTER 2000 program. Its purpose is to resolve all problems that will be anticipated by the change of the millennium.
