Virus Protection Program | |||

| The UofL virus protection program. It is a very good program and detects and eradicates most known viruses. Double click on the icon to download it to a temporary directory (e.g., c:\temp). Then, using file manager to view the contents of that directory, double click on the program fprot.exe. It will tell you that it is going to put the files in a directory called c:\temp7, click on the "unzip" button. Doing so will run the installation program. Just choosing the defaults and allowing it to make necessary changes to your autoexec.bat files should complete the installation successfully. Go back to file manager and delete the directory c:\temp7 and all the files in it. |
