An E-mail Program | ||
for Windows 95 |

Instructions |
This is an e-mail client program that will enable you to access and send mail from any POP/SMTP email account (e.g., Homer, Athena, Profs at UofL). Double click on the icon to download it to a temporary directory (e.g., c:\temp). Then, using file manager to view the contents of that directory, double click on the program Pegasus.exe. It will tell you that it is installing the program in the C:\PMAIL directory. You may let it do that or change to another directory (e.g., C:\ULNET\PMAIL). Do not install Netware support (one of the options provided ny the installation program). The installation program will do the rest. After the installation program is done, use File Manager to delete the Pegasus.exe file. If you already use an earlier version of Pegasus, first figure out which folder the Pegasus program is in and then put the new program in the same folder. This is an excellent mail program -- among the best on the market -- and it's free! Check out the Pegasus home page for help in setting it up for use. |
